The Commission on Filipinos Overseas announces with regret the cancellation of the Regional Summit of Filipinos in the Diaspora in Middle East and Africa (MEA) scheduled in Abu Dhabi, October 16-18, 2014. The decision was mutually agreed upon by the organizers due to reasons beyond their control. (Please see attached flyer.) ​

​We would like to thank everyone for your support and interest to participate in the Regional Summit. We also extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation has caused.

​However, we would like you to note that the 3rd Global Summit of Filipinos in the Diaspora: “Vision and Action for the Filipino Diaspora 2015 and beyond” in Manila is on 25-27 February 2015.

Help Fight Human Trafficking Through the 1343 Actionline Mobile Application

The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) through its Advocacy and Communications Committee (ADVOCOM) and the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) recently launched the mobile application of the 1343 Actionline against Human Trafficking. The 1343 Actionline mobile app can be downloaded for free from Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/ in any Android-capable devices mobile phones and tablets. For Iphone and Ipad users, it will also be available from IOS soon.

Overseas Voters May Now Register at CFO-Manila

Biometric recording is done in all new voter registration to cleanse the electoral process.


The 2016 Philippine Elections is coming. As part of the government’s extensive campaign to encourage migrants to register and vote as overseas voters for the upcoming elections, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, Commission on Elections and the Department of Foreign Affairs opened the second Overseas Voters Registration Center at CFO Manila on July 21, 2014. The first Registration Center was launched last June 2014 at the Office of Consular Affairs, ASEANA Business Park in Pasay City.
